A Nigerian medical doctor has tragically passed away.
It was reported that the young man died after being denied sick leave.
The sad news was shared by his colleague, Richard Chukwuezi, via a tribute post on WhatsApp expressing shock and frustration over the state of Nigeria’s healthcare system.
In his online post, he recalled the doctor’s own words: “I am having serious cough and chest pain. I wanted to take a sick leave, Dem no gree”, He stated.
