Abisola Kola-Daisi, the first daughter of the late former Oyo State Governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi, has sadly passed away at the age of 42.
Fondly known as Bisola, she reportedly died in the early hours of Thursday in the United Kingdom after a courageous battle with cancer. She is survived by her husband, Kolapo Kola-Daisi, and their three children.
Until her passing, Bisola was serving as Special Adviser to Nigeria’s Minister of Budget and Planning, Atiku Bagudu. She was also a prominent entrepreneur, owning the upscale Florence H Boutique, and played an active role in the family’s business ventures.
Her death was confirmed by Bolaji Tunji, former Special Adviser to her late father, who simply stated:
“Yes. It has been confirmed.”
Bisola’s passing marks another painful loss for the Ajimobi family, following the death of her father, Senator Ajimobi, who passed away in June 2020 at the age of 70.
Tributes have begun pouring in from across the country, as friends, colleagues, and well-wishers remember her for her grace, intelligence, and entrepreneurial spirit.
May her soul rest in peace.
