Suspended Senator representing Kogi Central, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, on Sunday night issued a sarcastic “apology” to Senate President Godswill Akpabio, intensifying their ongoing feud.
In a satirical letter posted on her social media platforms, Akpoti-Uduaghan mockingly begged Akpabio’s forgiveness, writing that he should pardon the “stubborn woman” who “mistakenly believed her seat in the Senate was earned through elections, not erections.”
Her biting letter, which has since gone viral and sparked widespread laughter and debate online, reads in part:
“I must apologize for prioritizing competence over capitulation, vision over vanity, and the people’s mandate over private dinners behind closed doors.”
Natasha has previously accused Akpabio of sexual harassment, a claim that has added a serious dimension to the political battle between them. In the satirical piece, she further ridicules the perceived entitlement and backroom dealings she alleges plague the Senate leadership.
Ending her letter defiantly, she signed off:
“Unafraid, Unbought, and Unbroken.”
The Senate has yet to officially respond to the latest twist in the feud.
