Renowned gospel singer Peterson Okopi has narrowly escaped a life-threatening car accident, leaving his fans and followers in awe of what they view as divine protection.
The singer, known for his powerful worship music, shared the news on Instagram on Saturday, posting images of the severely damaged front of his car, showing broken glass and a crumpled hood. Despite the significant damage, Okopi reassured his fans that he was unharmed.
“IF NOT FOR THE LORD WHO WAS ON OUR SIDE… Don’t panic, nothing missing, nothing broken. Keep reading,” he wrote on his social media page.
While Okopi didn’t provide specific details about the accident’s location or circumstances, he took the opportunity to promote his upcoming worship event, The Inner Court (Thanksgiving), scheduled for May 31.
He encouraged his followers to attend, saying, “Come with your instrument of praise and worship — above all, your heart. We will praise more and share more! We go harder and do more in the strength of the Lord.”
