Award-winning actress Toyin Abraham, fondly known as Oversabi Aunty, left many touched after speaking from the heart about her decades-long friendship with Iyabo Ojo and the deep bond she shares with her daughter, Priscilla Ojo.
During the lavish wedding ceremony of Priscilla and Tanzanian singer Juma Jux, Toyin was asked how she felt witnessing the big day — and her response brought on waves of emotion.
“Iyabo has been there for me for over 21 years,” Toyin said tearfully. “Priscilla is not just her daughter — she’s mine too. I raised her from age 8. She’s my first child. Temitope is second. Ire is the third.”
In the heartfelt clip making the rounds online, Toyin recalled nurturing Priscilla through the years, even featuring her as her daughter in one of her movies. The bond clearly runs deep, and she visibly became too emotional to continue speaking.
The actress also made sure to be part of the couple’s celebration not just in Lagos, but in Tanzania, where she joined Iyabo and the family during earlier wedding activities.
