Former Big Brother Naija housemate and reality TV star, Beauty Tukura, has spoken candidly about her breakup with fellow ex-housemate Neo Akpofure, revealing how intense fan pressure and public scrutiny contributed to the relationship’s downfall.
In a recent interview with media personality Toke Makinwa, Tukura shared that while there were valid personal reasons behind the split, the overwhelming attention from their joint fan base made things even more difficult.
“Neo and I had a fan base, and these people are very passionate. They see things in black and white, and that put a lot of strain on our relationship,” she explained.
“Emotions Got the Best of Me” — Beauty on Her Public Reaction
Following the breakup, Tukura briefly called out Neo on social media but later took down the posts. Reflecting on that moment, she admitted it was emotionally driven but didn’t regret speaking her truth.
Beauty also expressed her frustration with modern dating, calling out the lack of seriousness in relationships today.
“I am a lover girl, and I appreciate love, but this generation struggles with commitment and accountability. Men just want to vibe—it’s rinse and repeat,” she said.
When asked about her current relationship status, Tukura made it clear that she’s focused on herself and not actively seeking love at the moment.
“Right now, I am not interested in men. My priority is myself,” she stated confidently.
