Socialite and entrepreneur Chioma Goodhair has given fans an emotional behind-the-scenes look at how much effort went into securing actress Iyabo Ojo’s blessing for her daughter Priscilla Ojo’s now-viral relationship with Tanzanian singer Juma Jux.
In a heartfelt Instagram post, Chioma revealed that convincing Iyabo wasn’t an easy task. The JP2025 couple had just become official when wedding plans began to take shape, but the actress initially had serious concerns—fueled by online gossip and the lack of family ties to Tanzania.
Chioma shared,
“I remember walking all the way from Oxford Circus to the end of Knightsbridge (almost 2 hours) trying to convince her.”
Despite Chioma’s support for the relationship from the start, Iyabo needed reassurance, especially after being bombarded with gossip blog posts and skepticism over Juma’s intentions. However, the game-changer came when Iyabo told Chioma that if Juma wanted to date her daughter, he needed to be serious enough to marry her.
To everyone’s surprise, Juma Jux had reportedly declared his intention to marry Priscilla from the very first day they met.
The lavish Lagos wedding on April 19, 2023, was the culmination of not just love—but persistence, loyalty, and the bond of friends turned family. And now, social media can’t stop talking about this cross-border love story that almost didn’t happen.

“I cried when I heard Iya Iyawo’s speech on Chioma. My husband wondered why. I told him I have been following Chioma for over 5 years. She’s a sweet lady, kind-hearted even though the media thinks she’s this cold diva. She’s educated and disciplined, so she doesn’t take nonsense or get bullied as seen in Housewives of Lagos. But she’s humble, kind and loyal.”Ruzytella also added: “I am happy the world gets to know the real Chi, the classy, elegant, smart, strong, disciplined, kind-hearted, empathetic, humble Chioma.”

Seeing the way you love Priscy, you indeed have a beautiful heart. That’s why I’m calling you Big Sis, and I will call you that, hoping to see you someday
