Renowned Nigerian businessman and CEO of Five Star Music, Emeka Okonkwo, popularly known as E-Money, has once again shown his unwavering support for the family of late Nollywood actor John Odonwodo, better known as Junior Pope.
Junior Pope tragically passed away in 2024 in a boat mishap on the Anam River in Anambra State. In commemoration of the first anniversary of his death on April 10, 2025, E-Money took to social media to honor the actor and extend heartfelt messages to his widow, Jennifer Awele, and their three sons.
In his message, E-Money wrote:
“As you mark one year since your husband’s passing, I’m thinking of you and sending love. I can only imagine the emotions you’re navigating. Remember, grief is a journey, and it’s okay to take your time healing. You’re strong, loved, and not alone. My family and I are here for you and your kids, offering our love and support. Take heart, knowing that God loves you, and we do too.”
E-Money had earlier pledged to support Junior Pope’s family, stating in 2024:
“Your children now find solace in the embrace of the Okonkwo family, and we, as members of that family, pledge to nurture them as you would have wished.”
His renewed commitment has earned him widespread praise from netizens and the entertainment community, with many applauding his loyalty and compassion during such a difficult time for the late actor’s family
