Nigerian singer Asake has been thrust into the spotlight for allegedly abandoning his ailing father, Mr. Fatai Odunsi, also known as Malo. Recent social media posts revealed Malo’s parlous state, claiming he was paralyzed after suffering a stroke and seeking public assistance for medical expenses.

Conflicting reports have emerged regarding Malo’s involvement in Asake’s life. Some sources claim Asake was abandoned by his father as a child, while others assert that Malo was actively present and supportive. Instead, it was allegedly Asake’s mother who abandoned him and has since received disproportionate attention.
