The highly anticipated ceremony celebrates excellence across genres including Afrobeats, R&B, Hip-Hop, Inspirational, and Rap. One of the night’s most competitive categories, Next Rated, will see talents like Qing Madi, Shallipopi, OdumoduBlvck, Ayo Maff, and Nasboi battle for the coveted prize, which traditionally includes a brand-new SUV.
Other awards up for grabs include Artiste of the Year, Song of the Year, and Album of the Year, among others.
The event, featuring live performances and special honors, will be broadcast live on HIP TV (DStv Channel 324, GOtv 22) and streamed globally on YouTube.
After being hosted in Atlanta in 2022 and 2023, and skipping 2024, the Headies will be held twice this year in Nigeria to make up for the missed edition.
