The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested 23 suspected internet fraudsters in Oyo State.
The EFCC’s Head of Media and Publicity, Dele Oyewale, disclosed this in a statement on Wednesday in Abuja.
He said the suspects were arrested in the Akobo area of Ibadan following credible intelligence linking them with involvement in fraudulent internet activities.
”Items recovered from them include eight exotic cars, laptops, phones, and a PlayStation game, among others.
”The suspects will be charged to court upon conclusion of investigations,” the spokesman said.
