Gov Bassey Otu of Cross River State has ordered his commissioners to submit detailed reports of their achievements since they took office.
He also asked the commissioners to include progress reports of agencies departments and agencies under them to the Office of the Secretary to the State Government within one week.
In a statement on Friday morning, Otu said the directive was aimed at facilitating a thorough appraisal of the administration’s collective performance.
He stated that accountability and result-driven governance remain the top priority of his government.
“I have instructed all Commissioners to submit a detailed report of the achievements and progress of their respective Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) to the Office of the Secretary to the State Government within one week.
“This directive is aimed at facilitating a thorough appraisal of our collective performance, ensuring that we remain on track to deliver on the promises and mandate entrusted to us by the people.
“Accountability and results driven governance remain our top priorities,”
he disclosed on his X handle.
