The Federal Government has unveiled plans to organize the inaugural Nigeria International Airshow, set to take place in Lagos in February 2025.
This groundbreaking event aims to establish Nigeria as a pivotal hub for aviation in Africa, driving investment, partnerships, and sustainable development across the continent.
According to Festus Keyamo, Minister for Aviation and Aerospace Development, during a press briefing on Thursday. “Our aspiration is clear: to position Nigeria as a central hub for aviation in Africa, one that will attract investment, foster partnerships, and drive sustainable development across the continent.”

Keyamo made this announcement during a press conference in Abuja, emphasizing the significance of this event as a bold step forward for Nigeria and African aviation.
The three-day conference and airshow, scheduled for February, 2025, in Ikeja, Lagos, will bring together visionaries, experts, and pioneers to unlock new opportunities in the aviation sector. The event will feature exhibition halls, aircraft displays, innovation pavilions, and networking sessions.
