The suspects, including the chairman of the community, his two wives and two local security men were arrested on Tuesday and transferred to the State Police Criminal Investigation Department headquarters, Ilorin, on Wednesday.
Five suspects have been arrested by the Kwara State Police Command over their alleged involvement in the killing of a 46-year-old man, Comrade Adebayo Olanrewaju Mathew, in Ilorin.
It was gathered that the deceased, a graduate of the University of Ilorin, was allegedly macheted to death in the Ita-Elepa area of Ilorin West LGA during a heated argument between him and some local security men while walking home last Sunday night.
