Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) club Enyimba have secured a spot in the CAF Confederation Cup group stages.
The Peoples Elephants advanced into the group phase after a 3-2 penalty shootout win against Etoile Filante of Burkina Faso on Sunday.
Both teams battled to a 0-0 draw in the second leg of the tie at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo, having also played goalless in Bamako.

Enyimba converted three of their penalty kicks, while Etoile Filante scored two, giving up the group spot to the Nigerian side.
Yemi Olanrewaju’s side are now the only Nigerian club left on the continent.
Enyimba will be looking to become the first Nigerian club to win the CAF Confederation Cup.
