Popular Nollywood actress and social media influencer, Monalisa Stephen, has sadly passed away. The tragic incident occurred on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, in Lagos, reportedly due to complications from low blood sugar and internal bleeding.
Her death was confirmed by a close family member and publicly shared by Seun Oloketuyi, CEO of Best of Nollywood (BON), via a heartfelt Instagram post on Wednesday.
“Brand influencer Monalisa Ayobami Stephen is dead,” Oloketuyi wrote. “She died yesterday in Lagos after losing the fight against low sugar and internal bleeding. Her immediate younger sister confirmed the death of this hardworking and beautiful soul.”
