Nigerian rapper and actor Falz the Bahd Guy has stirred up a storm online after sharing his views on premarital sex.
Falz, whose full name is Folarin Falana and is the son of respected human rights lawyer Femi Falana (SAN), posted on his X (formerly Twitter) account on Sunday, saying simply: “Fornication is not a sin.”
The bold statement, which goes against traditional Christian teachings, quickly sparked mixed reactions from followers and critics alike.
One user, @mrwrongbutright, tweeted in disbelief: “I’m shocked to see this kind of tweet from a lawyer himself. May God have mercy.”
Another, @SirFega, chimed in with sarcasm: “Adultery is not a sin.”
Meanwhile, @ItzGracie disagreed with Falz, quoting scripture in response: “It’s a sin. Galatians 5 vs 19.”
Falz’s comment has since triggered widespread debate across social media, with many questioning the cultural and moral implications of his statement.
