In a move to make entertainment more flexible and affordable, MultiChoice Uganda has introduced a new set of weekly subscription packages for both DStv and GOtv users under a campaign called ‘Ka Weekie’.

Unveiled on Thursday, the new plans start from as low as UGX 5,000, making it easier for more Ugandans to enjoy their favorite shows without committing to a full month’s payment.

What’s New?

The DStv Lumba and GOtv Lite weekly packages are now the most affordable options on each platform, targeting viewers who want short-term, budget-friendly choices.

At the launch, Rinaldi Jamugisa, PR and Communications Manager at MultiChoice Uganda, explained the reasoning behind the campaign:

“We know our subscribers are looking for affordable and flexible ways to stay connected to the content they love. Ka Weekie is all about giving them the power to choose what works best for their lifestyle and budget.”

Here’s a Breakdown of the Weekly Plans:

DStv Weekly Packages:

  • Lumba – UGX 5,000

  • Access – UGX 14,000

  • Family – UGX 22,000
