General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministries, Apostle Johnson Suleman, is once again at the center of controversy after a viral video surfaced online showing him issuing a chilling warning to anyone who criticizes him near his church.
In the now trending clip posted on X (formerly Twitter), Suleman told his congregation:
“If you want to die and you’ve been praying for death, but it hasn’t come, there’s a way to make it happen. Come to Auchi, stand by the front gate of our church, and say something against me. Somebody will kill you, another will bury you, and the third will be doing praise and worship on your dead body.”
The fiery preacher also claimed that members of a cult once beat up a boy who insulted him and brought the boy to apologise. He said:
“They told me, ‘You no go like who we be, but you don help us.’ Kindness.”
This statement has sparked outrage online, with many calling it irresponsible and dangerous. Critics argue that such rhetoric could incite violence and send the wrong message, especially coming from a religious leader.
As of the time of filing this report, Apostle Suleman and Omega Fire Ministries have not released an official statement addressing the viral video.
