A massive fire broke out in Kano early Wednesday morning, sending thick black smoke billowing into the sky.
A video shared by Bashir Ahmad, former aide to ex-President Muhammadu Buhari, shows onlookers watching helplessly as flames engulf the area.
“A devastating fire incident currently in Kano. Thoughts and prayers are with all those affected. May Allah protect lives and restore the losses,” Ahmad wrote on X.
As of now, the exact location of the fire remains unconfirmed, and officials have yet to provide details on the cause or possible casualties.
This fire comes just five days after another devastating blaze destroyed the residence of the late Khalifa Isyaku Rabiu in Goron Dutse.
