Twenty-five-year-old Emmanuella Ogochukwu has been arrested alongside her younger brother, Ogbuka Tochukwu, for planning and executing a robbery against her boyfriend.
According to the Lagos State Police Command, the case of conspiracy and armed robbery was transferred from the Okota Police Station to the command for further investigation on February 17, 2025. The victim alleged that Ogochukwu conspired with her brother and his friends to rob him of three iPhones and bitcoins worth approximately N15 million.
Following her confession, police operatives tracked and arrested 22-year-old Tochukwu. Both siblings admitted to the crime, and authorities recovered all the stolen phones along with N6.5 million. The recovered items have been secured with the exhibit keeper.
The police confirmed that investigations are ongoing to apprehend the remaining suspects involved in the robbery.
