I put it to you that living a victorious life is a scam.
Who would have thought that the tool to be used to make the crooked paths straight would be me?
This particular statement has become a mantra for many; those moments when you realized that you cried out to God for help and He used you to help you?
Growing up, in a typical African home, raised by African parents and in an African environment, there were pressures and challenges I faced.
I’d come in front of a mountain I’d never seen before, neither was I informed in heaven before I came to earth, only to be blamed by my environment for not pulling that mountain down.
I wondered if I had magic inside of me.
Well, I do have magic, even something beyond magic; I had something supernatural. But no one told me about it, so I faced mountains and they seemed to conquer me.
I later got introduced to the Person who gave me a supernatural nature; yes, I was preached to about Jesus. I received Him and He became my friend.
I asked Him to help me remove the mountain I faced. He then equipped me to remove it. I didn’t see that coming, I thought He did take the mountain out for me.
He told me He did, but He did it through me. He did that continually, equipping me to solve challenges and every problem I faced. That’s how I became strong.
That’s how He taught me how to navigate life; that’s how He told me why I was here, in Africa. He delivered me from every hurt I faced while growing up; He turned those hurts into beautiful stories.
That’s how I live a victorious life, a life made straight by He who works in me.
So I will say that those mountains that seemed to conquer me are scams.
