A Nigerian man’s statement about his wife’s marital plea after years of dating has sparked criticism on social media.
In a Facebook post, the man identified as Prince Ozed recounted the intimate moment that resulted in their marriage even though he had never considered marriage.
He captioned,
“Guy marry me nah, You don’t too phuck me” that was the statement from Comfort Ozed after one good early morning knack that year. Me: Tell your people that I’m coming to see them next week.
Na so I take marry my wife oh.
Girls, please sometimes remind your guy to marry you, sometimes we dey forget.
(My True life Story)”.
His wife Comfort Ozed pleaded with him to take their relationship to the altar over complaints of excess intimacy. The man advised women to remind their partners about marriage because most men forget it.
Below are some reactions,
@MARTINSJOSEPH1 To me, I don’t find this funny, rather I find it condescending to the wife. There’s no need to post this on social media. It’s degrading to the wife.
@81_flacos No matter howmuch you remind a man… if he’s not ready, it’s might come off as you being desperate.
@iamfinestenny How una take reveals the woman face I thought it was covered. This generation doesn’t have shame again
@Dunk4all And your children will grow to read this someday!!! Mumu people
