Former Kano State Governor Ibrahim Shekarau on Sunday urged President Bola Tinubu to learn from the #EndBadGovernance protest and devise ways to govern the country better.
Shekarau made the call when he featured on Channels Television’s Sunday Politics.
In August, Nigerians protested the economic hardship occasioned by the policy initiatives of the Tinubu administration.

The global rights watchdog, Amnesty International, in a recent report, claimed that at least 24 persons were killed while 1,200 others were detained by police during a crackdown on the protesters.
He said: “The last protest on the end of bad governance was a clear message. The agitation was not a regional, state affair. It was a national matter. I think it’s a very clear message to the President and the Federal Government.
“Nigerians are saying ‘Please go back to the drawing board and reassess what you are giving us.”
