The immediate past governor of Kogi state, Yahaya Bello, has arrived at the Federal Capital Territory High Court for his bail application hearing alongside his co-defendants.
The proceedings took place before Justice Maryanne Anenih at the Maitama court in Abuja.
The former governor, who has been in the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) since his arraignment on November 27, was escorted to court by EFCC operatives under heavy security.
Justice Anenih is set to deliver a ruling on the bail applications of the former governor and his co-defendants.
Bello, along with Umar Shuaibu Oricha and Abdulsalam Hudu, was arraigned on a 16-count charge brought by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on behalf of the Federal Government.
