The New Orleans Saints and their fans are hoping for the best Sunday after all-purpose player Taysom Hill was carted off during the team’s game against the Los Angeles Rams.
However, tests confirmed that the Saints star suffered a torn ACL Sunday:
Hill was injured on a fourth-down play in the fourth quarter. With the Saints facing a 4th-and-1 situation with under five minutes remaining, Hill ran to the left edge, getting sandwiched between a pair of defenders. From this replay, it looked as if Hill took a helmet to the knee:

Hill was carted off the field, receiving a rousing ovation from the hometown Saints fans:
The team provided an immediate update, listing him as doubtful to return:
Before leaving the game Hill had five carries for ten yards. He had also caught 5 passes for 37 yards, leading all Saints players in the contest. On the season, Hill is tied with Alvin Kamara with six rushing touchdowns to lead New Orleans.
