Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola has explained the weird cut on his nose and scratches on his forehead after their deflating 3-3 draw with Feyenoord in the Champions League.
Recall that the cuts were noticed when he arrived at the Etihad Stadium for the game.
And after the game, there were also some scratches on his head, as he watched his team throw away a 3-0 lead.
It means that City have failed to win their last six games, the first time that has happened since his first season in the Premier League eight years ago.
“I cut it with my finger,” Guardiola said at a press conference.
The former Bayern Munich and Barcelona boss then appeared to joke: “I want to hurt myself.”
City seemed to be cruising towards a comfortable win after two goals from Erling Haaland and one from Ilkay Gundogan gave them a 3-0 lead early in the second half.
But some shocking defending saw them concede three times in the final 15 minutes.
