The Plateau State Governor, Caleb Mutfwang, has approved the implementation of N70,000 minimum wage for workers in the state.
The state’s Head of Service (HoS), Mr. Stephen Pam, disclosed this in a statement on Thursday in Jos.
He said the approval followed the agreement by the Committee on Consequential Adjustment on Salaries on November 13.
Pam added that the move demonstrated the government’s commitment to the welfare of workers in the state.
The HoS urged workers to be more committed and dedicated to their duties.
