The naira shed N8. 42 against the dollar at the official window on Tuesday.
Data from FMDQ showed that the naira traded N1,688/$ on Tuesday, up from N1,681.42 it exchanged on Monday.

The naira lost N5 at the parallel section of the foreign exchange market to close at N1 740 from N1,735 it traded the previous day.
The forex turnover dropped to $106.44 million on Tuesday from $471.5 million recorded 24 hours earlier.
