The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission ( ICPC) has arraigned a former House of Representatives from Gboko/Tarka Federal Constituency of Benue State, John Dyegh, for alleged N18 million fraud.
He was arraigned at the Federal High Court, Makurdi, on a five-count charge of alleged abuse of office and money laundering.
The ICPC’s spokesman, Demola Bakare, confirmed the ex-lawmaker’s arraignment in a statement on Tuesday in Abuja.

The commission alleged that Dyegh converted N18.9 million intended for the construction of school facilities in Guma local government area of the state to personal use.
The statement read: “He was accused of allegedly channelling the funds through the First Bank account of Midag Limited, a company in which Dyegh has a substantial interest.
“This alleged action violates Section 19 of the Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offenses Act, of 2000.”
