The immediate past president, Muhammadu Buhari has sent a delegation of 10 former Ministers to pay a condolence visit to the former Minister of Women Affairs, Pauline Tallen, over the demise of her son, Richard Adamu Tallen.
Led by Former Minister of Information, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, the delegation delivered a heartfelt message describing Richard as “a gem and a rising star” whose passing is deeply saddening.
According to a statement on Thursday by his spokesman, Mallam Garba Shehu, Buhari urged Tallen and her family to find solace in the outpouring of love and respect from admirers.
The delegation, led by Lai Mohammed was made up of the former Ministers of Power, Engineer Abubakar Aliyu; Environment, Barrister Mohammed Abdullahi; Power (State), Jedy Agba; Niger Delta, Umana Umana; and Industry, Trade and Investment, Chief Niyi Adebayo.
The others were former Ministers of Youth and Sports, Sunday Dare; Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama; Transportation, Muazu Jaji; and Water Resources, Engineer Suleiman Adamu.
Prayers were offered for the repose of Richard’s soul.
