Oleksandr Usyk, the Ukrainian champion boxer, has revealed what Anthony Joshua’s major ‘problem’ was following his shock defeat to Daniel Dubois on Saturday night.
Dubois defended his IBF heavyweight title in front of 96,000 fans at Wembley and defeated Joshua in five rounds.
The defeat means Joshua has now suffered four defeats in his professional career.
Speaking after the fight, Usyk, who has beaten Joshua on two occasions, believes the biggest flaw in his defeat to Dubois was his poor movement with his footwork in the ring.
“Not shocked [that Dubois defeated Joshua] because it’s boxing. Daniel Dubois today was better,” Usyk was quoted as saying by Metro UK.
“Anthony had one problem because this position [leaning back] is dangerous – if you want to step back, do it like this [by moving your feet], not like this [leaning], this is dangerous.”
