The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, on Tuesday met with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Board of Trustees (BoT) in Abuja.
The meeting was part of ongoing efforts to find a lasting solution to the political crisis in Rivers State.
The BoT led by a former Senate President, Adolphus Wabara, last month invited the minister to a meeting in a bid to reconcile him with his estranged political godson, Governor Siminalayi Fubara.

The duo fell out last year over control of the PDP structure and other sundry issues and efforts by President Bola Tinubu and stakeholders in the state and beyond to resolve the dispute have not achieved the desired results.
Wike last week vowed that he would never support the governor politically again.
The minister, who featured in a Channels Television’s programme, Politics Today, berated Fubara for lying against him.
