Netizens and fans of the late Nigerian singer, Mohbad were outraged at the lyrics of Naira Marley’s verse in Zinoleesky’s new song titled “Abanikanda“.
The lyrics have struck many as highly insensitive and unnecessary, while leading others to believe that he was subtly admitting to his role in the late singer’s death.
The singer who was a prime suspect in the death of Mohbad has been relentlessly attacked, with many urging him to say the truth about the events that led up to Mohbad’s death.
The lyrics from his verse painted Mohbad as his enemy/opposition and that he should be left in a casket. It read;
“Leave that opp boy inna casket,”
While many admit that the song is good, the lyrics make them unable to appreciate the song for what it is.
A lot of the late singer’s fans however have called out Marlian Boss for being insensitive and bullying his ex-signee even after his demise, disrespecting him even in death.
