In accordance with the recently released circular from the Registrar’s office on the disbursement of the Student loan, we are writing to keep you abreast of the necessary steps and prerequisites for receiving the Nigeria Education Loan Fund (NELFund) from the Bursary Office, University of Ilorin.
The Students’ Union appreciates the transparency and prudence demonstrated by the President Tinubu-led administration, NELFund management, and University Management in disbursing the loan.
Kindly be informed that this information is specifically for students who applied for NELFund in the 2022/2023 Academic Session and received the Upkeep payment for the previous month (August).
To request a refund, concerned students are to submit a letter to the Bursar through the Dean, Student Affairs Unit (SAU), accompanied by the following documents as references:
– A copy of last session’s school fee receipt
– A copy of upkeep payment receipt
– Recipient account details for the Upkeep Payment
