Wilfred Ndidi, the Nigerian international footballer, has promised the Super Eagles will make amends for their previous defeat to the Cheetahs of Benin Republic.
Benin Republic defeated the Super Eagles 2-1 the last time both teams met in June.
Ndidi however believes the result will be different this time around.
“We as players, we know what we did the last time was really bad. The game was really bad so it’s just what we are planning to do now to make everything right because everyone was disappointed in the first game,” Ndidi told reporters.
The defensive midfielder also declared that the team is battle ready for their opponents.
“But there is no pressure to be honest because we know what we want to do. We know how we want to approach the game,” he added.
“We know mentally we are ready; we know physically we’re ready and fit to actually approach these games.”
