Lauretta Onochie, a former Presidential aide to ex-President Muhammadu Buhari, has taken to Twitter to spread fake news about a lady, Amaka Patience Sunnberger who threatened to kill other Nigerians in Canada.
Onochie in a Twitter post shared a fake photo claiming to show the lady being arrested over the incident.
However, it was found out that the fake photo belonged to Georgia lawmaker, Sen. Nikema Williams being arrested in 2018.
Onochie had in the past shared fake news and misinformation targeting Atiku Abubakar, falsely claiming that Atiku shared cash and food packs at a rally.
In her latest post on Twitter about the lady threatening to kill Nigerians in Canada, she shared a fake photo and wrote:
“You don’t open your mouth anyhow in a society where the Police knows their job and work without interference.
Amaka will now explain to the Police her devious plans to poison innocent Nigerians. She went too far with her #Obidiocy.”
