If you think that you need to be perfect in prayer, or if you think that you need to do prayer a certain way, if you were taught that prayer needed to look a certain way, or you just don’t have the words, I just want to encourage you to remember that the Holy Spirit intercedes, and when you don’t know what to pray for, or if you don’t pray as you ought, He is interceding for you with groanings too deep for words. What does that mean? It means that He is able to put into words for you before God the things that you don’t have words for, the deep desires and pains of your heart. He is that kind of loving God who would intercede for those things even when you don’t have the words to articulate them, because it shows you the heart of God towards you when it comes to prayer.
