EastEnders star Vicki Michelle was taken to hospital after a serious fall which left her with broken bones.
The actress, 73, who played Jo Cotton on the soap opera shared her shock fall with her Instagram followers.
The star posted a picture of herself recuperating in hospital after discovering she had suffered a broken shoulder during her ‘painful’ accident.
But the actress seemed all smiles as she posed with a sling around her arm, pointing at her broken shoulder.
Underneath the picture she wrote: ‘So sorry everyone No Vix Mix Sunday this week. I’ve had a nasty fall and broken my shoulder.

Vicki’s followers and celeb pals were quick to send their well wishes in the comments. Fellow soap star and former Emmerdale actress Linda Lusardi wrote: ‘Oh god. Wishing you well. Look after yourself darling.’
‘Ouch. Bloody painful. Me at hospital. Hopefully be with you next week. Missing you already.’
Vicki’s followers and celeb pals were quick to send their well wishes in the comments.

Veteran TV presenter Anthea Turner penned: ”Awwwww speedy recovery.’
Another well wisher added: ‘ Sorry to hear that Vicki. Please do look after yourself. Hope you’re all healed up and feeling better very soon.’
The former ‘Allo ‘Allo! actress made her explosive debut as Brian Conley’s onscreen wife in the long running soap last year.

Vicki, who is best known for her role as Yvette Carte-Blanche in BBC series ‘Allo! ‘Allo!, was pictured in Albert Square for the first time, when she joined the cast of EastEnders back in February.
