Australian television’s exclusive Logie Awards was held in Sydney on Sunday, and a host of A-List stars gathered to celebrate their extraordinary TV success.
Home and Away couple Ada Nicodemou and James Stewart, Sonia Kruger and Gold Logie winner Larry Emdur were just some of the stars who made appearances at the star-studded ceremony.
However, there were several huge notable absences, with people questioning where Today show host Karl Stefanovic, radio stars Kyle Sandilands and Jackie ‘O’ Henderson and reality TV host Abbie Chatfield were.
Stefanovic, who turned 50 on August 12, did not attend as he had already made plans to celebrate his birthday in Sydney, according to The Daily Telegraph.
Meanwhile, FBoy Island host Abbie Chatfield, 29, previously revealed she was not attending for a shock reason.
‘I’m not going. I don’t want to work for free, too much faff. So much faff! My boyfriend gets home, so I’ll probably have dinner at home,’ she told Yahoo Lifestyle.
Radio stars Kyle Sandilands, 53, and Jackie ‘O’ Henderson, 49, were also noticeably absent, with the shock jock revealing on his breakfast show that he simply didn’t feel like going.
‘I just can’t be bothered,’ he revealed on KIIS FM’s The Kyle and Jackie O Show, after pulling out of presenting at last year’s ceremony to stay home and care for his young son.

Other stars also curiously absent from the exclusive event included three-time Gold Logie winner Daryl Somers and Channel Nine veterans Eddie McGuire, Tracy Grimshaw and Sylvia Jefferies.
Event host Sam Pant, 50, took a cheeky dig at Somers’ joking comments at last year’s ceremony, in which he said nominees could participate in an ‘auction’ for a Logie award.
‘Australian television royalty Daryl Somers who playfully attempted to auction off the Gold statue to the seven nominees,’ Sam began.
‘Now, we won’t be doing that again this year… simply because last year it started as a live auction but finished as a silent auction.’
Elsewhere, several Married At First Sight stars were said to be ‘devastated’ they didn’t receive an invitation to the exclusive red carpet event.
Meanwhile, reality TV star Abbie Chatfield (pictured) chose not to attend the ceremony because she didn’t want to ‘work for free’
This year’s extraordinary ceremony saw Channel Seven’s presenter Larry Emdur take home the coveted Gold Logie for Most Popular Personality on Australian Television.
Taking the stage at the Logies ceremony in Sydney, The Morning Show host had the crowd roaring, making light of the number of times his programs have been axed over the years and his wide range of questionable hosting gigs.
Meanwhile, New Zealand actress Rebecca Gibney won the TV Week Hall of Fame Award in a milestone achievement.
Radio stars Kyle Sandilands and Jackie ‘O’ Henderson also chose not to attend, with Kyle earlier revealing he ‘couldn’t be bothered’ making an appearance
