Going into the final day of the season, there is hardly any margin for error in the Premier League title race.
Manchester City’s 4-0 win over Fulham on May 11 effectively knocked Liverpool out of the race, leaving just two sides to battle for the ultimate prize.

As of Monday, May 13, Arsenal is one point clear at the top of the table after Mikel Arteta’s side secured a crucial 1-0 win over Manchester United the day before.
City could, however, take back control over the title race if they beat Tottenham Hotspur today (May 14).
How Arsenal and City can end season level
Because of the tight nature of the Premier League title race this season, it is not hard to fathom a scenario where Arsenal and Manchester City end the campaign level on both points and goal difference. If the Gunners win their final game against Everton on May 19, they will have 89 points. City will also have 89 points if they collect four points in their remaining two games against Tottenham and West Ham United.
As far as goal difference is concerned, Arteta’s side are three goals better off than City. However, Pep Guardiola’s side have developed a knack of scoring for fun against inferior sides in recent games, meaning there is a chance Man City could close the gap in goal difference by the end of the season.
