Why Is Buhari’s Administration Silent Over Herdsmen Killings – HURIWA

On Tuesday 9th of april president Muhammadu Buhari was called out by the Human Right Writers Association of Nigeria ( HURIWA)  over the kiliings happening in the country by herdsmen.

This group made this accusations obvious after the recent attacks by herdsmen in Enugu and Anambra, they said, the presidents silence could cause more harm than needed if nothing is quickly done about it.

This group (HURIWA) also called south east governors and the states parliament to pass law on vigilante groups with licenses and arms for the purpose of self protection. Emmanuel Onwubiko  who is the national coordinator of the (HURIWA) has condemned the federal government as they have failed to declare the “armed fulani killer gangster” as a terror organisation. He said this fulani herdsmen organisation is been backed up by some platform known as the “miyetti allah cattle owners association” but yet the federal government has refused to take any reasonable actions.

Kumornews recalls that the group said,some armed men who were suspected to be herdsmen attacked Anambra west local Government area and beheaded some persons leaving 6 (Six) daed.
